Regional SAS Conference 2019

Programme

Welcome to the Yorkshire & Humber Regional SAS conference on 4th October 2019. It is our great pleasure to host this conference this year in the city of Leeds. The theme of the conference is ‘Diversity and Strength’. This recognises the inherent diversity within the SAS grade but also celebrates the strength within. The meeting will showcase some inspirational speakers on how embracing diversity and being supportive of each other is beneficial to our overall well-being. We hope to stimulate thought on key elements; mental health, stress, resilience and performance. Those who feel marginalised (LGBTQ, ethnic minorities, working Mums and Dads, part-time, disabled etc) will relate to the emotional aspect.

We will build on the success of the preceding meetings. There will be several interactive workshops in the form of world café covering topics like How to get a positive appraisal, Role of educational and clinical supervisor, SAS teaching fellow and Quality improvement. We hope that the cr rolex datejust rolex calibre 2813 16200 mens black tone diamond pave dial engaging programme will be enjoyable.
